diamond productions

Hello,
I have a windows xp and a windows 7 laptops. I downloaded the update for diamond caves 3, I downloaded the level groups, but when i click on game i get the message "Diamond Caves game has stopped working". I also tried running the old version and it doesn't respond (Not Responding) anymore. I would appreciate any help to get the game working. I bought the game in August 2009. Thank you.
