diamond productions

Hi,

I bought dc3 back in August 2004 (diamond productions Order # 1913) and used the registration code sent. It is now registered to "Simon Koek", although I have changed my email address: it was "skoek@iinet.net.au", now I use the one this account in registered in ("spkoek@yahoo.com"). The version is 1.12 (10.06.2005). I have tried to update it via the main menu, selecting "Check for Updates", then "connect". It tells me about the available version 2.00, but when I select "Download & Install", most of the time I get the error code: "Socket-Fehler #11004". However, sometimes the download starts, but mid-way I get the error "HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found".

I am wary about downloading the new 2.1 version and just installing it, in case I overwrite my previous installation and lose all the player information. If I install the new version, will it overwrite the player data? It's not a good solution, as I don't want to lose all of it. Is there a version which just patches the existing installation up to the current version? My Operating System is Windows XP Home Edition 2002, SP3.

Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thanks in advance!
