Diamond Caves: what's it all about?
The main goal of the game is to collect a specific amount
of Jewels and reach the exit in time. These items may aid you in your quest:
1. the Player...

a Boulder (can be moved and crush enemies or the Player) |
|
|
a Nut (contains an Emerald) |
|
|
a Bomb (explodes after falling down) |
|
|
the Megabomb (even more dangerous than the standard Bomb) |
4. Walls
|
|
a brick wall |
|
|
a steel wall (indestructable) |
|
|
Boulders and other items can fall down from the round wall |
|
|
you can crack a nut on the wall with point |
|
|
some brick walls may contain valuable items (use an explosion or a Hammer o free the content) |
|
|
the magic wall change every item that falls through into something different... |

6. Gates and other Passages
|
|
the Exit (will open after enough Emeralds were collected) |

|

|

a red steel-gate |

|
a red Key (needed to cross the red gate) |
|
|
a red wooden door (like a steel-gate but destructable by an explosion) |
|
Gates and Keys are also available in yellow, green, blue and white: |

the grey steel-gate - you need one of the four colored keys - but which one? |
|
|
the four-colored-gate - you need any one of the four colored keys |
|
|
the Emerald-gate is special: Each time you cross this gate, you have to collect one more Emerald for the exits to open! |

this switch will open all closed doors and (at the same time) close all open doors! |
|
|
|
|
|
this door will open for a few seconds... |
|
|
as long as the green wheel spins, the green door remains open |

the Teleporter can transport the Player to a different location. |

a Tube (the Player can not be harmed by explosions or enemies while inside a tube!) |

this is a one-way-passage (can only be crossed in one direction) |
7. Machines

a yellow conveyor-belt, can move items like Boulders or Emeralds around |

8. the enemies
|

the Spaceship (do not touch!) |

the Bug (leaves some Jewels behind after exploding!) |

the Mole (does not harm the Player and eats the Amoeba) |

|
the Amoeba (beware of the drops!) |
|
|
the Eater is called eater because he likes to eat Diamonds - and the Player! |
|
|
the Slime (does not harm the Player and can collect items!) |
|
|
the Robot (tries to catch the Player) |
|
|
spin this Wheel to distract the Robot for a short time |
9. miscellanous
|
|
everything that falls into the Acid-Pool is gone forever! |
|
|
a Mine burried in the earth (take a close look!) |
|
|
a contact-Mine, explodes on contact! |
|

a Chest (may contain valuable items) |
